Technology 2

Product Technology

Our PNLC-based smart films utilize a proprietary network-structured liquid crystal layer, providing improved durability, stable switching performance, and wider operating temperature capability compared to conventional PDLC technologies. Its high flexibility makes it suitable for automotive applications as well as offices, retail spaces, commercial facilities, and residential environments.

Privacy
Control

Instant switching between transparent and opaque states through simple voltage control enables flexible space management and privacy protection.

Energy
Efficiency

The film can reduce infrared transmission by up to 65% and block up to 99% of ultraviolet rays

Safety &
Protection

When used in laminated glass, the film helps prevent glass fragments from scattering if the glass breaks, enhancing overall safety performance.

Projection
Screen

The opaque state functions as a high-performance rear projection screen, and is also capable of displaying clear and detailed images, including 4K and 8K resolution content.

Key Features & Competitive Advantages

Our proprietary film structure (see Structure & Principle below) enables performance levels and flexibility that are difficult to replicate with conventional PDLC technologies.

In-House Liquid Crystal Development

We do not simply procure materials for PNLC production. Our liquid crystal formulations are developed and manufactured in-house, allowing precise control over optical and electrical performance.

Ultra-Thin Film

Film thickness starts from 0.12 mm, enabling lightweight and compatibility with even existing glass surfaces. Roll-to-roll production is available up to 1.2 m in width and 50 m in length.

High Optical Performance

The film provides excellent transparency in the ON state and strong opacity in the OFF state, achieving a high level of optical contrast.

Custom Color Development

Our specialized structure enables the development of black and other custom-colored liquid crystal films tailored to specific design requirements.

Uniformity & Process Stability

Because both the liquid crystal material and the production process are internally controlled, the film maintains consistent quality with minimal variation.

Design Flexibility

The film can be processed into slits, custom shapes, perforations, and other configurations to meet diverse design and architectural requirements.

Projection Capability

In the opaque state, the film can be used as a rear projection surface. It delivers clear and sharp image reproduction suitable for high-resolution content, including 4K and 8K.

Cost Efficiency Through Process Innovation

Our production method enables competitive cost performance without compromising durability or functionality.
